Bitplane, the world’s leading interactive 3D and 4D image visualization and analysis software company, is sponsoring the Yale Microscopy Workshop and Symposium, at Yale School of Medicine, from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th June 2012.
This event is a combination of symposia, hands-on classes and open access to a wide variety of microscopes. During afternoon seminars, academic investigators present inspirational research employing emerging and traditional microscopy. The wet-bench classes are linked to the symposia with a thematic technique or application. It is open to the entire research community and only requires your free registration.
This year's symposia theme is "Optogenetics". Symposium speakers will present research using imaging approaches that employ innovative fluorescent probes.
At this course Bitplane will showcase the latest Imaris. Imaris is Bitplane’s core software module that delivers all the necessary functionality for data visualization, analysis, segmentation and interpretation of 3D and 4D microscopy datasets. Combining speed, precision and ease of use Imaris provides a complete set of features for working with three and four-dimensional multi-channel images of any size.
