International Bitplane Users Group Meeting

Dear Customer,

On behalf of the Bitplane team, we are pleased to announce our upcoming International Bitplane Users Group Meeting.

The meeting is being held May 16th - 18th, 2011 on the Northwestern University campus in downtown Chicago, IL.  Many thanks to the Cell Imaging Facility at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine for hosting us.

Overview

  • The meeting will include three full days of presentations, training, lively discussion - and fun! Customers will have the unique opportunity to meet the Bitplane employees who help to shape Imaris and train with Bitplane's customer support team. To foster community and collaboration among Bitplane customers, there will be ample opportunity to share your work, optimize your analysis techniques, and develop novel solutions to your research needs.
  • Whether you wish to gain valuable introductory training, improve upon a more advanced level of Imaris expertise, or just enjoy the benefit of interaction with other members of our fast growing Bitplane community, this meeting promises to be an event that you will not want to miss.  Each day,lectures will be followed by training exercises and their solutions. There will be ample opportunities to work on your own images and gain the assistance of the Bitplane team. To see the exact schedule of events, refer to the Agenda page.

 Hands-on Learning Opportunity

  • Bitplane will provide a limited number of computers for the hands on sessions, which may need to be shared with another attendee.  If you wish to work individually, we encourage you to bring your own laptop that is capable of running Imaris.  We will provide you with a temporary license.

 Cost

  • The cost to attend this meeting will be $225 per person. This includes coffee and snacks at breaks in the morning and afternoon sessions, lunch on each of the days of the event, the sponsored dinner, and course materials such as printed & bound copies of lecture notes. After registering online, attendees have the option to pay via credit card (our preferred payment method) on a secure website.
  • Attendees will be responsible for the cost of transportation to Chicago, IL from their home town, hotel accommodations, and dinners with the exception of the Tuesday night meeting dinner.  

 

Attendance will be limited and is expected to fill quickly. Advanced registration is required and early registration is strongly recommended.
