An image says more than a thousand words. But sometimes you want to add a few words to an image. Imaris InPress enables researchers to place labels on structures in 3D to enhance presentations and publications effectively.
Imaris InPress offers the perfect tool to create figures of all Imaris views ready with titles, captions, labels, and other highlights for presentations or publications.
With a few clicks add an annotation label to a figure that highlights some detail of the image. Click into the image to set the insertion point in 3D space. Drag the mouse to position the text box. Click one last time to size the text box. Finished! Then choose from a range of possibilities for annotation appearance. Fully customizable, you can use different font styles and sizes or different styles and colors of arrows and text boxes. For example, text boxes can appear semi-transparent so that you can see the image through the box.
Imaris InPress allows figures to be exported as HTML-file, which can easily be opened in word or any other presentation program. The image created in InPress can also be exported by creating a snapshot.
Imaris InPress lets you save the figures with the image data so you can easily modify them, when you need to. For example change the color of the background or slightly modify the point of view of the 3D scene. Imaris InPress also remembers the camera position or viewing position in 4D space associated with each figure.
