Imaris 7.6 was developed with one objective in mind: “get you to your answer, faster".

As a consequence, we have expanded the Imaris Vantage concept,launched one year ago, to enable comparisons between groups (e.g. Control A vs Test A). This way you can seamlessly advance from image analysis to results interpretation, all inside Imaris. Moreover we have kept the four-way link you enjoy and are familiar with. This means you can navigate between the raw data, segmented objects, calculated statistics and the multi-dimensional Vantage plots, with single mouse clicks. 7.6 is great for result validation, data exploration and identification of trends.

Also, we have significantly improved Filament Tracer. Firstly, by implementing a dynamic control for the tolerable gap size present in non-homogeneously labeled filaments. Secondly, the sholl intersections analysis has been optimized to better handle even highly irregular dendrite morphologies.

In addition to this, the Measurement Points tool has been equipped to measure angles between three user defined points and, as a result of improved multithreading, we have speeded up the detection of Filaments (up to 25% faster) and some types of Spots (up to 60%).
